Love the food and drinks here. My go-to is the pasta alla vodka which may be the best in Seattle. Team always provides great service, and the drinks are well-done too!

I think I may have reviewed them before, but if not, here it is. I've visited this restaurant many times and am always delighted with the results. The atmosphere is lovely, the staff incredibly good, and the food and wines are wonderful. They run a very smooth operation, and even with a full house they manage to take care of everyone. Their soups are superb and I hope they never stop offering that luxurious chocolate mousse cake for dessert! One problem that was also mentioned by another reviewer is that a woman was sitting at a table with her dog, which was barking. When I asked the server about that, she said "That's her service dog." I politely mentioned that actual service dogs DO NOT bark throughout the meal, which was obnoxious. That was no service dog. It was a companion dog that belonged at home. They told me she was a regular customer. I hope the owners/managers are not allowing that dog in just because they get the regular income from her. This was intolerable, which is why I took away what could have been 5 stars.

Rolled up on this old school Italian place and enjoyed a magnificent meal. Cocktails started the evening, followed by an appetizer of garlic bread. It was a bit overdone for my taste but the rest of the meal was stellar. One of the specials that evening was veal saltimbucca and it was done right! Tender, well pounded veal with prosciutto and a touch of sage in a sauce that made you sing. After dinner cappuccino was great too.

Very sweet service - our server made the effort to go back to the kitchen and ask "how much" wheat flour was in the gnocchi, as I'm gluten intolerant but can handle a little. We ended up going with a mushroom risotto, which was incredible. Our drinks were strong and well-balanced, too - we felt super fancy for a very reasonable price. Definitely recommend this place!
